We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Tester & Technical Writer as a full time position at our corporate headquarters in Handforth.

 

This is full time position for an experienced Systems Tester. The position also requires the candidate to maintain an existing product documentation set.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and ongoing improvements to an existing product testing infrastructure
• Creation/Maintenance of UNIX testing scripts.
• Writing and Running Test Plans and Strategies,
• Performing Functional tests, Defect Management and Regression Testing.
• Testing of Hot Fixes, Enhancements and Service Packs.
• Working and Managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ongoing maintenance of the product documentation set. Including Manuals, Technical Bulletins, Release Notes and On-Line help to a company standard format.

 

Essential Skills, Education & Experience:

• Experience of both Windows and Unix Operating Systems
• Basic programming aptitude.
• Dedicated, organized and detail-oriented person
• Good Communication and Team working Skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
• Good Multi Tasking and Time Management Skills
• Practical experience with the Adobe Product Family - FrameMaker, RoboHelp & Acrobat.
• Good technical writing skills

Salary : £25,000 - £30,000 per annum + Benefits
