Orlando, Florida – 23rd June 2008 - Interlink Software today announced the release of its BSM 2.0 platform, a major step forward in the evolution of Business Service Management. BSM 2.0 encompasses a number of technical innovations that focus on improving the accuracy of service level agreement tracking and on reducing the cost of maintaining service models. These two areas, accuracy and cost, have posed the biggest challenges to organizations in their efforts to implement first-generation BSM solutions. Early BSM offerings represented business services using relatively static, hierarchical models. If service level agreements were incorporated at all, they usually focused on simplistic measures of availability.
