Minute by minute a typical enterprise is flooded with huge volumes of technical monitoring events and data; generated by the data center, network operations or multi-vendor tooling. Making business sense of this data can be challenging and the Service Desk will most likely be at the epicenter.

 

Seamless integration between Interlink Software’s Business Enterprise Server (BES) and HEAT Service Desk brings you the capability to manage the health of your critical business services from the top-down – in a single-pane-of-glass. Bi-directional integration correlates root cause and business impact in real-time. This results in a manageable number of exception alerts that can automatically pass to the HEAT Service Desk as requests to create, update or close incident records for tracking and resolution purposes. As an incident is updated or resolved in the HEAT Service Desk, the corresponding alert and underlying monitoring events in BES are automatically updated and vice versa.
BES can correlate and display HEAT Service Desk incidents, problems and changes alongside monitoring alerts and technical events in web-based business value dashboards (BVDs).
